About Us

Bunters Yard is based in Southend, Essex.

At our studio, we design, manufacture and custom finish an ever growing range of scenic accessories for model railway in all of the popular scales currently modeled in the UK, N gauge, TT:120, OO gauge & O Gauge.

Although we sell on other platforms such as Etsy and eBay, we save many or our more unique items for our online shop, so please check back with us periodically.

Bunters Yard began by weathering some pieces of older Hornby Railroad wagon bought at auction a few years back. They became popular on Instagram so we decided to create a YouTube channel to show how we achieve our weathering effects. When we needed items to accessorise our builds, we began to use 3D printers and these accessories in turn then became popular sellers on eBay. 

We felt that we could offer a more focused buying experience with our own online store, and so here we are.

We are adding new products on a regular basis. We try to offer a whole range of sizes and options on as many items as we can, because the real world isn't a uniform place.
